DIY Denim Love

Hey Party People! For the past couple months I've been obsessed with Jean jackets and vest- especially ones that are customized. So below I have posted some of my favorites and a few videos on how to make them yourselves! ENJOY!

Panda Lovin' Nails DIY

The cutest nails are also the simplest!

I figured a picture of a real panda was necessary for this post :0) 

Paint  3/4 of your nails white, with a rounded top. Apply two coats.

I highly recommend making this tool for perfect pandas, this tool will SO come in handy in the nail painting part of your life! here is a link for the DIY from the girls over at The Beauty Department 

With the tip of your pencil (the writing tip), make a little black dot. This will be the panda's nose, God forbid they can't breathe! 

Than with your cool new dotting tool, make two black dots where your white ends. These will be your panda's ears, because we want your pandas to be able to hear you typing and texting! 

Than make eyes for your little pandas by dotting black right underneath them ears :0)

Than with the writing tip of your pencil, dot white in the black.

Now the final touches are all up to you! You can either dot black with the writing tip of your pencil to detail the eye like my ring finger panda in the photo above :0) on two of my pandas you can see that I put rosey cheeks on them with a very light pink nail polish, also using the cool dotting tool :0)

framed fabric DIY

This past week my roommate moved back home to Texas, leaving me with a room all to myself! What does that mean!? DECOR. TIME!! So I did a very simple, but cute DIY for some wall art! Put em' favorite fabric to the use!

You will need scissors, any size embroidery hoop, cute fabric, and a hot glue gun. 

tighten your hoops over and under your fabric. 

Cut your fabric to about half an inch around your embroidery hoop. 

Hot glue gun your fabric down to your inner hoop as taught as you can...

and all the way around! And you got yourselves a cute new hanging piece!

Hi lovelies! Spruce up your wall with an easy garland! So cute and easy! The trick is getting the right fabric! 

Pick vintage fabrics, which you can buy at thrift stores for ridiculously low prices and cute them into flags, using one as a template. 

I am absolutely obsessed with the apples fabric! I which I could have more of it to make a cutsie dress out of it! Its so school-girlish ..

Then you'll need some yarn, (length depends on you, how long you want it, or how wide your wall is).. and a yarn needle. 

Than make some stitched across the tops of your flags, with about half an inch to an inch of space in between..

tah-dah! I put mine above my closet :0) i love it, so...

Bows DIY

Cut out a piece of fabric :0) Make sure that the width is more than the length. 

Fold it like a taco, and sew along the edges. I used white thread to make it easier to see but use thread matching your fabric. 

Fold both ends to meet in the middle. Sew them in the middle. 

Than pull your thread, this will scrunch your bow. :0) 

Than , cut a stripe of fabric. This will go over the middle to make it look nice and tidy. 

Sew the ends of the stripe of fabric together in the back. 

                                       BIPITY-BOPITY BOW!!!!! 


P.S. Use a lighter to stop the fabric/ribbon from fraying. 


P.P.S. You can hot glue these bows to headbands, hair pins, shoes. Or sew them onto clothes!! There is a thousand and one things you can do with them, they'll make anything look adorable! Have fun, xo! 

Old Polaroids/Doodles

Once upon a time, a girl named Nathie went to the thrift store. She bought a couple of vintage cameras and a pack of 600 Polaroid Film. She ran all the way home and put the film to the test, she was very sad to see that the film in which she paid five dollars for, in fact did not work. 

She was left with expired Polaroid Film in her hands and was very sad.

So she decided to make the best of the situation. So, she started doodling. 

And she doodled. And with nail polish and a nail from her wall she made polka dots on the film.

And she doodled some more. She even sewed into the film sweet nothings. 

And she doodled some more...

And more...

And more..Until her little hand was getting cramps. She cut out her drawings and hot glued the corners onto the film :0)

DIY snowman cupcakes (so sorry for the delay instagrammers) 

aren't these just the cutest cupcakes you've ever seen!? these holiday sweets are simple and adorable! 

besides your cupcakes, you need marshmallows, frosting, food coloring/color frosting, zip lock bags, and icing tips. 

cut a tip of your ziplock bag and put your frosting tip through it. than you can put your frosting through it to decorate. i used red frosting and dark green frosting. you can buy frosting already colored. 

each snowman is two marshmallows on top of each other, the top (head) is just cut 1/4 way down, with frosting in between them to keep them stuck together. 

with the tip of a butterknife rub some red frosting on the face marshmallow for blush. around the neck of your snowman add a scarf! dont use red like me, it kind of looks like hes bleeding (scary). use colors like blue or green. with a small tip and dark/or black frosting make your snowman's face and buttons, i added arms, you cut put pretzels as arms. 

add to the middle of your cupcake a there you have it! thee cutest Christmas cupcakes!!!
